The 2011 Chrysler 300 undergoes a major freshening, with revised styling and a new V6 engine. This large car shares its basic design with the Dodge Charger. Available trim levels include 300, 300 Limited, and high-performance 300C.

All have rear-wheel drive. The 300C is available with all-wheel drive as well. Standard on the 300 and Limited is a new 292-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine. 300C models have a 363-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 with Chrysler’s Multi-Displacement System cylinder deactivation. The sole transmission for all is a 5-speed automatic. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front-side airbags, and curtain-side airbags. Leather upholstery and heated front seats are standard on the Limited and 300C. Ventilated front seats and a heated power tilt and telescopic steering wheel are standard on the 300C and optional on the Limited. Blind-spot alert, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and rear cross-path detection are optional on the Limited and 300C. Rear cross-path detection activates when the transmission is in reverse in order to detect other vehicles approaching from the sides. The Limited and rear-drive 300C models are available with a sport suspension and 20-inch wheels.
