2011 Chrysler Town & Country

The 2011 Chrysler Town & Country sees a number of changes, including freshened styling and more power. Town & Country is built from the same design as the Dodge Grand Caravan but differs in trim and pricing.

The 2011 model lineup includes Touring, new-for-2011 Touring L, and Limited. All have a new 283-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine. A 6-speed automatic is the sole transmission. The 3.3-, 3.8-, and 4.0-liter V6 engines have been discontinued. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags that cover all seating rows, and front-side airbags. All have Chrysler’s Stow ‘n Go system, which has 2nd- and 3rd-row seats that fold flush into the floor. The formerly optional Swivel ‘n Go seating has been discontinued. Power-adjustable pedals, a hard drive for storing digital-music and picture files, a rearview camera, power sliding rear side doors, and a power liftgate are standard. Tri-zone automatic climate control and a hard drive for storing digital-music files are standard across the board. Rear-obstacle detection, blind-spot alert, and "Rear Cross Path" are standard as well. The latter feature activates when the transmission is in reverse, and detects any traffic moving toward the vehicle. Leather upholstery and heated front seats are standard on the Touring L and Limited. A navigation system, heated 2nd-row seats, and a wireless cell-phone link are standard on the Limited and optional on the Touring and Touring L. Dual-screen DVD entertainment is standard on the Limited and optional on the Touring L.
