Suzuki Grand Vitara 2011
The 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara lineup sees some changes, including the loss of its available V6 engine. This compact SUV seats 5 and has a side-hinged rear cargo door. Trim levels include Base, Premium, and Limited. All have a 166-horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard on the Base.
The Premium and Limited use a 4-speed automatic. Grand Vitara’s previously optional 3.2-liter V6 has been discontinued. All are available with rear-wheel drive. Two all-wheel-drive systems are offered: Single-mode AWD and Suzuki’s "4-Mode" AWD that includes a locking differential, hill ascent and descent control, and low-range gearing for off-road use. Single-mode AWD is used on the Premium, while Limiteds have the 4-Mode setup. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags. A navigation system is standard on all; Premium and Limited models have real-time traffic information. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, keyless access/engine start, and a sunroof are Limited-exclusive standard features. A wireless cell-phone link is optional on the Premium and Limited.
