Abdusakur Tan, jolo, sulu

Abdusakur M. Tan, is the current Sulu Provincial Governor, Tan is chairman of the crisis management committee, also known as the Task Force ICRC, that is handling efforts to secure the freedom of Italian Eugenio Vagni, Swiss Andreas Notter, and Filipino Mary Jean Lacaba.

Criticism

• Some politicians in Sulu criticized Tan and accused him of failing to deliver basic government services to the people of the province. Business Mirror
• Sulu Gov. Abdusakur Tan demanded an apology from ABS-CBN Broadcasting Network for allegedly besmirching the image of his province with the kidnapping incident involving veteran journalist Ces Drilon and her crew. Mindanao Examiner
