In 2003, Asian Media was chosen by Vivendi Universal Games (VUG) as its sole and official partner. VUG is the global leader in multi-platform Interactive Entertainment, which is behind phenomenal titles like CounterStrike, WarCraft, and other games which revolutionized the gaming cafe business in the country.

Due to this, the company sealed its mark to officially distribute Guild Wars in the Philippines. This deal has also embarked the company’s entry to the online gaming market.

Now, Asian Media  has grown to be a full blown game publisher with the debut of Lineage II in South East Asia on August 1, 2007. Asian Media has also expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Exteel, a mecha-themed third person shooter, which expands the company’s reach into the Free-to-Play market. Given its right organizational facilities and excellent products, the company is well positioned for more success in the gaming industry.

Lineage II’s growth in the South East Asian regions, amounting to over five-hundred thousand (500,000) registered users, fuels the drive to further the company’s reach into the gaming market.  Augmented with the acquisition of Exteel, as well as future plans of creating a Hybrid model to fuse the region’s Pay-to-Play and Free-to-Play communities, Asian Media is evident to push the MMOG scene forward as Asian Media fervently provides extensive and high quality content to the gaming public.
