Deramas confirmed that he also wrote the story of the film. He said he hopes that his idea and efforts will pay off.
"Sana ma-transcend 'yung objections namin kasi hindi mahirap maghintay ng five years para masundan ang sequel," ATINL is the sequel of Deramas's comedy film "Ang Tanging Ina (ATI)" and the third of his "Ina" collection after "Ang Cute ng Ina Mo" with actress Anne Curtis. Conflict with 'Uge' Deramas, meanwhile, denied that he has a rift with actress Eugene "Uge" Domingo, saying that he is in good terms with her. "Wala talaga kaming gap ni Uge." His statement stemmed from blind item reports that there was a misunderstanding between him and Uge and that they decided to go separate ways. Deramas said there was no truth to the reports. He said Uge will be working with him again in "Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat." How about Heart? When asked if actress Heart Evangelista will still be included for the Ai-Ai starrer, Deramas said, "Si Heart wala, si Uge kasama." Evangelista is now the newest contract star of GMA-7. In ATI, Evangalista played the role of Ai-Ai's daughter Portia. In 2003, ATI became the highest grossing film in the country until it was surpassed by actress Kris Aquino's horror flick "Sukob," also produced by ABS-CBN's Star Cinema.
