Echo excited by upcoming album
MANILA – What’s keeping actor-singer Jericho "Echo" Rosales busy these days? Rosales said he is now working on his first album under Star Records. The crooner’s upcoming album will comprise more or less 10 tracks including his original compositions.
"I will focus on guitar. Ang catch nito ay per track iba’t ibang mga gitaristang kaibigan ko [ang kasama ko]," Rosales said. Aside from love songs, his CD will also feature inspirational tracks, the actor said.
He said the album might be released by the end of July or first week of August. Rosales, who released a self-titled album last year, started his singing career in 2006. He used to be part of a band called “Jeans.” Before it disbanded, Jeans released an album under EMI in August 2006.
Last March, Rosales signed an album project contract with Star Records.
Aside from acting, Rosales admitted that singing is his other passion. He said he is happy that he is now doing both.
"Every time I go to the studio sobrang enjoy ako… I really enjoy staying in studio to record music. Ngayon, ang sarap ng feeling na medyo balanse na ang music at acting. So, medyo sabay na sila," Rosales said.
