Pure ‘N Fresh Top Teen Awards on MYX

myx_awards MANILA, Philippines – MYX presents the Pure ‘N Fresh Top Teen Awards on June 7 at 8 p.m.

The Top Teen Awards is the first award ceremony for teens, by teens. Teenagers nationwide voted for their favorites in music, movies, TV and other categories.

“It‘s great that MYX and Pure ‘N Fresh had an event like this which is made especially for teens. I‘m glad that the youth have a venue to voice out concerns, choices and thoughts,” said Luis Manzano.

Nikki Gil added, “I‘m happy to be part of this event that gives importance and power to teens particularly in a time when the youth need and want to be heard.”

The night was graced by Kapamilya stars like Jon Avila, Carlo Guevarra, Joem Bascon, John James Uy, MYX VJ Andrei Felix and Mark Abaya.

There were also performances by Chicosci which opened the evening with a dose of rock ‘n roll; Spongecola performed its version of Closer You and I; and the grand finale by Bamboo. There was also a booty-shaking dance number by the Gigger Boys.

Hosted by Luis, Nikki and Chino Lui Pio, with the special participation of selected winners of the Top Teen video contest, the night was packed with the youth who were excited to find out the results of the awards.
