Former Moonstar88 vocalist promotes her solo album

Alternative-pop music singer Acel van Ommen, the former vocalist of “Moonstar88,” has released her first solo album titled "Acel van Ommen: Silver Lining."

Ommen said the album contains 10 original songs that she composed. The songs are "Tracy," "Pakiusap," "Silver Lining," "Jay," "Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig," "Satisfy," Habang Panahon,"    "Laugh and Cry," "Tomorrow," and "Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig."

"So, sana suportahan natin ang mga Filipino artists," Ommen told ABS-CBN’s morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda."

Ommen, a mother of one, left Moonstar88 in 2004 to focus on her family.

She also sang the theme songs of some of ABS-CBN’s television series including "Rounin."
