iAM Interactive acquires GoGoRacer Online

GoGoRacer IAM Interactive, the Philippine game publishing company behind the hit game Lineage II and the highly-anticipated shooter game Exteel, adds another feather on its gaming cap when it returns to the table together with Radiance Digital Entertainment, a Shanghai-based game development company, for the contract signing of GoGoRacer.

GoGoRacer is the next-gen online casual racing game that is sure to make the competition eat dust on its tracks. It boasts a wide array of features like anime-inspired graphics, real physics engine, and a limitless customization options for the karts.

But more than an eyecandy, GoGoRacer boosts its performance credibility because of its strong community-building potential through its multiple race modes that not only encourages healthy competition, but also player bonds in the form of Car Clubs. Car Club is very much like its real-life counterpart where racers bond together to join group races and other activities.

GoGoRacer is the second free-to-play game (the first is Exteel) to be added on iAM Interactive’s growing lineup of games. The ink has not dried on the Exteel’s contract when iAM Interactive closed the deal with Radiance to launch GoGoRacer in SEA.
The game’s projected acquisition is a testament to iAM Interactive’s bold approach in acquiring strategic advantage through aggressive cornering of the free-to-play market. This is in line with the company’s goals of harnessing the vast market potential in the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore territories, AsianMedia’s original market.

"Radiance always dedicates itself in providing the best games to players. We have an outstanding team; furthermore, we are always exploiting overseas markets. The development of "GoGoRacer" is only the beginning; we are confident to issue more exciting games to players all over the world,” says Monte Singman , CEO of Radiance and a well-known game master with 23 years experience in game field.

Fadzly Yusof, President and CEO of iAM Interactive, sees this acquisition as an opportunity for gamers across the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia territories to engage in friendly competitions. He is also positive that GoGoRacer is another proof that iAM Interactive is the “Philippines’ first regional online gaming company”.
