Jake says Bea Alonzo "just a friend", supports Roxanne's career

{mosimage}Young actor Jake Cuenca said that his relationship with actress Bea Alonzo is nothing serious. He insisted that the actress is just a good friend.

Cuenca said that he wants to keep his friendship with Alonzo and that he does not want to make things complicated.

"Sana lang hindi na nila bigyan ng kahulugan 'yon at ayaw kong magbigay ng problema sa kahit kanino," Cuenca said.

His statement stemmed from reports saying that he is the newfound love of Alonzo after the actress broke up with actor Mico Palanca.

The two were put under close scrutiny when reports surfaced that the two were seen going out together.

Cuenca himself has just emerged from a much-publicized breakup from former sweetheart actress Roxanne Guinoo. The actor said that no matter what, he will always be a friend to Guinoo.

"Alam niya kung anong klase ang binibigay ko sa kanya, nasabi ko na ito… sinusuportahan ko talaga siya," Cuenca said.

Reports had earlier said that Guinoo agreed to do a sexy pictorial for a men's magazine as a reaction to their breakup, and as a way to get back at Cuenca.

The actress said she sees nothing wrong with her decision.

Cuenca is a member of ASAP's Coverboys. He last starred in the hit television series "Palos" with Cesar Montano.

The actor will be busy with different projects that ABS-CBN has lined up for him. He is also set to do a movie under Star Cinema with Shaina Magdayao and Maja Salvador.

This August he will be doing out of the country shows with his fellow Coverboys.
