Kim Chiu afraid to commit on The Buzz
Young actress Kim Chiu said she would rather not go into a serious relationship right now because she is afraid to get hurt.
A teary-eyed Chiu, who turned 19 Sunday, confessed to “The Buzz” that her fear to commit stemmed from the separation of her Chinese father and Filipino mother.
“Takot din ako… Ayokong masaktan muna. Siyempre, lagi yan pag mag-boyfriend, mag-girlfriend hindi pwedeng hindi masaktan,” Chiu said.
Chiu and on-screen partner Gerald Anderson have publicly admitted their feelings for each other but the actress did not want them to get serious just yet. The actress is also glad because Anderson is not pressuring her.
When asked to give a message to her family who is based in Cebu, Chiu said: “Thank you dahil lagi silang nandiyan. Kapag wala akong time, tumatawag sila. Tapos pumupunta [sila] dito sa Manila tapos sinu-surprise nila ako… tsaka nagta-trabaho naman ako para sa kanila.”
