Sam thrilled with reunion project with Gonzaga

MANILA – Actor Sam Milby is excited over his upcoming reunion project with actress Toni Gonzaga. “I’m excited kasi siyempre like Toni said maganda ang chemistry namin and fun lagi sa set,” Milby told ABS-CBN News during the shooting of the movie.

The actor also shot down speculations that he and Gonzaga are not on good terms. “OK na OK kami,” Milby said.

The actor said they really enjoy working together especially with the presence of the film’s lead stars, Concert and Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas and the comebacking actor former president Joseph “Erap” Estrada.

“Basta ang masasabi ko lang talaga ay super excited kami dito sa film na ito,” he said.

Milby plays the role of a son to newbie actress Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of boxing champion Manny Pacquaio.

Milby will fall in love with the character played by Gonzaga, who is the only daughter of delas Alas and Estrada.

It will be recalled that Milby first paired up with Gonzaga in the movie “You Are The One” in 2006.

They also did the film “You Got Me” and “My Big Love.” They also reunited in recording the album titled “Love Duets” under Star Records.

Gonzaga earlier revealed that she and Milby had a mutual understanding in the past  but their relationship did not bloom when she found out that Milby was already dating actress Anne Curtis.
